Fads

    Spandex shorts, bowl cuts, beanies, trapper keepers, and Opraha's Book Club were just some of the terrible fads of the 1990's. Chat rooms were also popular until molesters thought if would be fun to neat to meet their victims through the internet. That fad is quickly fading. To me the worse one had to have been Pokemon. I never got into the game but from what i understand its nothing that would ever excite me. One fad that seemed to catch the eye of America was the Tamagotchi. It was a handheld digital pet created in 1996 by Aki Maita. As of 22008 70 million of this toy  had been sold. There were 3 bottons that allowed player to feed and play games with the vertual pet.

Just as the fashion of this time I believe the fads were absolutely horrible. Ever though they seemed great for its time Im glad they didnt stick around.
