      Although not on the top ten list, teen pop groups from the 80's carry into the 90's are stay very popular. Teen pop groups formed into boy bands. *NSYNC, 98 Degrees, and the Backstreet Boys blow up onto the scene and takeover music entirely. Although the glory did not last the 90's will always be remembered as the boy band decade. Also grunge music is formed from alternative rock.
